Firstly, thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
I have just climbed the tallest free standing mountain in the world, Mount Kilimanjaro - 5,895m. I did this with 10 colleagues from Arup.
I needed to raise £3,000 for the Kili trek - £1,500 to cover the cost of the trip which I paid myself. The other £1,500 (plus any extras over the £3,000) is going to Engineers Against Poverty. EAP is an independent charity established about 10 years ago to work with industry, government and civil society to fight poverty and promote sustainable development. www.engineersagainstpoverty.org
It is fantastic that I have now reached my £1,500 target - but I want to raise as much as I can, so do please still sponsor me if you can. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me to climb Mount Kilimanjaro: Engineers Against Poverty will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Any sponsorship, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated - by me and by Engineers Against Poverty. Many thanks for your support.
Susan
