Firstly, thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

In December 2008 I am going to climb the tallest free standing mountain in the world, Mount Kilimanjaro.   That's 5,896m, which is more than 3,000m higher than I have ever been. This could be seen as a mid-life crisis, but I prefer the term mid-life celebration!

I need to raise £3,000 in sponsorship to do this - and 80% of this amount (£2,400) has to be raised by 10 September 2008. Of the £3,000 total, £1,500 is to cover the cost of the trip and so I will be paying this myself. The other £1,500 (plus any extras over the £3,000) will go to Engineers Against Poverty.
