We support those affected by mental illness to change mental health for good

Story

Dear Friends,

As you know from my e mail to you, Jane's friends from childhood, Clare and Kitty Musgrave, are taking part in the Great North Swim to raise money, in Jane's name for SANE.  They swam, played, and laughed with her, and  were saddened by her illness, Bipolar Disorder,  which in the end led her to take her own life.   I will be there to cheer them on.   I am very touched by their kindness and thought in doing this and want them to achieve as much sponsorship as possible.   The easiest way to give is by this website and it makes no difference to the amount of money raised.   It just makes it easier for everyone, including the charity.

Do look at Peter's photo website pictures of Jane and also you will see one of Jane with Clare and Kitty Musgrave sailing on Windermere and Jane in a photo in front of the Boat House.www.pbase.com/ibbo/jane

With love and many thanks,

Susie Ibbotson xxxxxxx  PS  Clare and Kitty did a staggering swim in the cold waters of Windermere with 2000 other swimmers!!!   Clare completed the mile in 35 minutes and Kitty in 45 minutes - a truly great feat if you know what it is like to swim in cold (less than 15c choppy water)  The Great North Swim will be on Channel 4 in October.
