Hi everyone :) my name is susan and i'm 17 years old. In the summer I plan on doing a Sky dive for Dan's Fund for burns charity. This is in honour of my dad who was unfortunately burnt 2 years ago. He suffered 45% burns when a highly flammable fluid in a container exploded. After putting the flames out my dad then drove himself to hospital. He was treated at Broomfield Hospital, Chemlsford where he made a remarkable recovery. He was there for only 6 weeks and is now at home fully independent.
Unlike my dad not everyone is lucky enough to have such a great recovery, however he will never be able to work again. This charity helps people face life once again and provides excellent support for burns victims who have to live with emotional and physical scarring for the rest of their lives.
