We Fight chest, heart & stroke illnesses to Improve the lives of people across NI

Story

Hi all,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

From 8th to 19th September I will be taking part in a charity trek up Mount Kilimanjaro, the world's highest freesatnding mountain (5895m's).

I am doing thuis in aid of a local charity Chest, Heart and Stroke Northern Ireland (CHSNI). It is a charity close to my heart and as a Respiratory Physiotherapist I frequently see firsthand the excellent and often unseen work that this charity does.

Each year in Northern Ireland almost 10,000 people die from chest, heart and stroke illnesses and scarcily a family in our community has not been affected. Northern Ireland Chest, Heart and Stroke is therefore committed to caring for today and finding a cure for tomorrow.

I have opted to pay all costs of thhe trip so that all monies raised will go directly to the charity. Currently Chest, Heart and Stroke NI are spending £250,000 a year on research alone. The funding does not come from the government, but from the generosity of people like you.  Without you, it simply would not happen.

Please can you help?  Any donation made would be greatly appreciated!

Susanne Magee xx
