I first met Lee whilst doing my Registered Sick Children's Nurse Training at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital in 1987. He was 6 then, and is now 27!!  We have kept in contact over the years and even went to his wedding in 2007. He and Vicky live only 45 minutes away from us in Cornwall. Lee has been in and out of hospital throughout his life and has recently had a kidney transplant donated from his Mum. He is a true inspiration to us all and 'Kids Kidney Research' is my chosen charity for many reasons.

Please sponsor me however much or little you can - every penny helps. I have never run in my life and this is probably the biggest challenge I have ever faced!! Having said that , the training is going well.
