Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Well, I did it!!

I am still having to pinch myself to believe I have actually run 13.1 miles!!  I actually really enjoyed the event and managed to complete the course in 2 hours 11 minutes, which I was really pleased with!  A few aching limbs, but a smile on my face at the end - as you can see from my glamourous photograph!!!

Thank you so much to everyone who has sponsored me so far, and for all your words of encouragement - it really helped me to achieve this goal.

Your money is going to a really good cause and I know that the Parkinson's Disease Society will use it well in their work to find a cure, and to help sufferers and families of people with this cruel disease.

It's not too late to donate through my page, the more I can raise to help the PDS the better.

Thank you.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Parkinson's Disease Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
