On Tuesday the 6th of April, fire fighters James Shears and Alan Bannon gave the ultimate sacrifice in exchange for the lives of many public in which they rescued that sad evening.

Jon Cater from East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service and Adam Moseley from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service made the decision to run/jog/walk/crawl from Hove Fire Station in East Sussex all the way to St Mary's Fire Station, Southampton in Hampshire (Approx 60 miles)

The idea is to get as many donations as physically possible within 24 hours en-route to Southampton. This would be handed over on the evening of the 24th of May to the fire fighters of Red Watch at St Mary's which would be given straight to the families of these 2 brave fire fighters.

There will be approximately 10 - 15 fire fighters from Hampshire, East and West Sussex Fire Services running the distance.
