I am now having to do the tandem jump, as the instructor has advised that 15stone will be a little to heavy! (and he prefers not to do solo jumps for first jumps when you are near the limit). Only bonus is the charity gets more money! X

Hi thanks for taking the time to read this, I am going to be doing an accelerated free-fall from 15,000 feet to raise money for the Meningitis Research Foundation.  The jump will take place on the weekend of the 2-4 March 2012, the two main reasons being I need to lose the weight so I can jump and secondly so I can reach my target of £1,000.  I have chosen this charity as it is a cause that is close to my heart, some of you will be aware and some of you won’t.   On December 4 2011 my youngest brother, Joshua would have been 21 unfortunately he was taken from us the day after he was born.  He contracted meningococcal septicaemia and became very ill very quickly, for me it was the hardest thing to understand as a 7 year old that my younger brother would not be coming home with my mum and dad.  God only knows how hard it must have been for them!  I have chosen the Meningitis Research Foundation to help eradicate this awful disease so others do not have to endure the heartache we have felt.
