The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I've been bitten by the cycling bug and am really excited to be joining hundreds of colleagues from Capgemini to cycle the 45 mile Palace to Palace event (Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle) on October 1, 2017. The ones who've done it before tell  me it's 'mostly flat'. It can't be worse than 17.5 grueling miles in the North Yorkshire hills (can it?).

We are all raising money for the Prince's Trust - which is where your £ donation will go if you choose to sponsor me. (Please do).

In addition, simply by logging  kilometers of movement and posting on social media (#Capgemini50), we will be contributing to a Capgemini donation of up to 100,000 euros to three educational charities in our company's 50th Anniversary MOVEFIFTY campaign :

  • Equal education for girls in disadvantaged families in India
  • Construction of a school for disadvantaged children in Guatemala
  • Introducing children in France to coding (especially those from disadvantaged neighbourhoods)

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
