Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I can't imagine what it could possibly be like to be separated from your children or parents - especially if you are thousands of miles apart with nobody to care for you.  But I can imagine what it might be like to receive some care and support when you find yourself alone in a strange country - it might be the very ray of sunshine which puts you back on track.

Not long ago my friend Angela Gluck (who actually is an Angel in disguise - just take the "a" of the word Angela and you'll see) lost her daughter Ester - she was only 24 - far far to young.  The Separated Child Foundation was set up in Ester's memory and to carry on the good work she so passisonately believed in.

But why am I running - why not just give some money and have done with it?

Why?

Because these children need our help

Because Ester's name will live on

Because it's a challenge which I can't complete without your help.

Because I can't resist doing something I've  never done before............

And if I actually complete this I'm planning on bigger things....... so watch this space!
