We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page. I am studying at Brock College and I am 17 years old. My hair will be shaved on Friday 1st February 2013 (pm) and a video and photos will be uploaded for proof.

Annually I do a fundraising event, 2 years ago I did a 34 mile hike on crutches (my leg was in a cast) from Salisbury to Christchurch to raise money for 'Help For Heroes' and because I didnt do one last year I am supporting two charities this year.

I am raising money for Cancer research because I feel passionatly about the incredible amount of diagnosed patients that die from cancer and for the people who are able to go through chemotherapy and are eventually cured but in the process have to lose all of their hair. I aim to raise money to help go into research to find a cure to help these people, it can happen to anyone!

Also I am donating my hair, once it is shaved off, to another charity called Little Princess Trust, who will then use my hair to make wigs for young children who cannot afford to buy a wig when they have to have chemotherapy.

Cancer has no definate cure. People are DYING. We need to find a cure, we cannot let cancer win.

Please support me in my fundraising event, all donations help and I am very grateful for all your support.

I will just add that I am not taking any money in person, so please donate online or through text. Thank you.

Thank you so much
