On the 29th of april 2012 a group of 4 lads from south wales will be embarking on the biggest challenge of their lives and attempting to cycle from the liberty stadium in swansea to the eiffel tower in paris. Our hope is to raise a large sum of money for the uk charity Scope. Scope is a uk based charity that help people with cerebral palsy. They work very hard to allow disabled people in the uk to live a normal life and have the same opportunities as others and are an extremely worthy cause.

We will be leaving swansea early on sunday the 29th of april with an aim to reach paris on saturday 5th may after covering a total of over 400 miles in 7 days. None of us have ever attempted anything like this before and even though were all keen cyclists its going to be extremely difficult!!

The team consists of 4 cyclists of Owain Roberts, Jon Roberts, Darren Holmes and Gareth 'Will' Jones. Also joining us on the trip will by our trusty blue van man Gareth Roberts in a support vehicle and he will be acting as our mechanic, chef, and general dogs body on the trip!!

Obviously the aim of our ride is to raise as much money as is physically possible to support scope so we are looking for people to make donations to help us achieve this. Any amount of money you can give to this great cause would be amazing and very greatly recieved!! We have set up a webpage, swansea2paris.webs.com where you can go on and keep up to date with our training and planning
