Dragon Boat Festival · 10 May 2009

We raise funds for research that will lead to the successful treatment and eventual elimination of kidney disease. The lives of many people are seriously affected by kidney disease. Kidney failure is an extremely debilitating illness. Research is the only answer to find a prevention or a cure.

Story

On Sunday 28th June the 20 strong Sweaty Kidney Scientists team frantically paddled their Dragon Boat to a barely missed win in their third and final heat at a time of just a fraction over 1 min 1 sec.

Sadly they didn't make it to the semi finals, but  be assured that this result was achieved with a massive amount of team effort, sweat, some blood, and not a few tears!

Please show your support of such a splendid effort by sponsoring the team they have definitely earned it!

And when you have done that - you can go to http://www.flickr.com/photos/vipdesilva/sets/72157620551485817/  and see more  pictures of the event.
