Swim Challenges 2009 · 31 January 2009

The Lullaby Trust exists to keep babies safe and to keep grieving families supported. We fund life-saving research, empower families with expert baby safety advice and support grieving families through their darkest days. We won’t give up until no baby dies suddenly or unexpectedly.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

This is going to be quite a busy year for me, I've got the following adventures planned:

   Lake Zurich - 26.4km on 26th July 2009
   Channel Relay Race - between 13th - 18th August 2009 (weather permitting)
Channel Solo - THE BIG ONE - 26th Aug - 3rd Sep 2009 (weather permitting)

This year I'm swimming in support of the Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths (fsid).

I'm swimming in memory of Leo Cox (shown in the photo).  Leo passed away in his sleep on 2nd September 2008.  The end of the tide for my solo marks a year since he left us.  As you can see he was a perfect, gorgeous little boy who had been seen and craddled by many people on the beach in Dover with his parents and Grandmother who are heavily involved in the world of channel swimming.

To find out more information about me, this years challenges and what I've done over the last few years, visit my website www.emma2france.com.

There is also a separate just giving page for the channel relay race

Thank you
