On 9 September 2011 my Mum died from secondary tumours following an initial diagnosis of Breast Cancer 8 years ago. A vague comment about swimming the channel made to my sister Kim in the waiting room at Dorchester Hospital a few weeks earlier seems to have snowballed in to the Three Sisters, Three Challenges.

We would like to support some of the charities that supported my mum and other cancer suffers. I have decided to support Breakthrough Breastcancer by Swimming the Channel, Kim will be supporting MacMillan by running the London Marathon and Jenn will be supporting Weldmar Hospice by doing the Three Peaks Challenge with my daughter Charlie.

My Channel swim is now booked and training is well underway, Kim has entered the Edinburgh marathon and the date is set for Three Peaks.
