Alzheimers is a growing problem amongst our elderly in the UK and despite better health care being available over the years, their quality of life can decrease for the sufferer, the caring spouse and/or family as the ability of their loved deteriorates and often their personality changes for the worse.

We have some firsthand experience of this in my family through my Dad (82), who benefits from support from this organisation, as does my Mum as their volunteers take him for a few hours out each week to give her a break.
