WORLDwrite has launched a feature length documentary on the ideas, life & times of suffragette and revolutionary Sylvia Pankhurst and needs your help to get it promoted and shown everywhere. The film includes exclusive testimony from her son Richard Pankhurst alongside interviews with numerous experts. Sylvia refused to sacrifice the fight for universal suffrage until it was won and her opposition to the war and internationalism were and remain exemplary. Her bravery in fighting for equality and opposing all misanthropic trends puts her as one interviewee says, “up there with the angels”.
Sylvia never flinched from asking for what was needed and neither must we. To share Sylvia's ideas and campaigns with the world and promote this documentary we urgently need your help. WORLDwrite is an education charity with a long track record of developing creative programmes with young people. The charity set up the online Citizen TV channel WORLDbytes and provides free film training to young people, ensuring they can produce programmes and reports which question the way the world is and champion the best for all. The charity also assists partner groups in developing countries with annual global appeals. WORLDwrite is volunteer led and run, has an open door policy and encourages all-comers to get involved and recognise there are no limits to what's possible.
