If you’ve got this far you will probably be aware of the fundraising initiative set up by John and four friends: “7 for 2007”. Simply, it’s seven endurance events in a year, a team of over 50 people from across London taking part, and an aim of raising £100,000 for four major cancer charities. To support the initiative, challenge myself (why?!) and, most importantly, raise as much money as I can for The Anthony Nolan Trust, I have already taken part in a 60km walk and battled through the London Triathlon. Next up it's a sky dive and a world record attempt. Good grief!

As you will also know, my name isn’t particularly synonymous with the term “endurance event”, so it’s going to be a struggle!
