We offer care, support and information to anyone affected by breast cancer

Story

Thank you for visiting Premier Rugby's Fundraising Page. Please dig deep and donate generously to a very worthwhile cause.

The Tackled Pink weekend kicks off this weekend, with the 12 Guinness Premiership clubs teaming up with Breast Cancer Care, the UK’s leading breast cancer support charity, to offer women a weekend of rugby with a difference.

Across the weekend of the 19-20 April all six Guinness Premiership rugby matches will be turning pink to raise funds and awareness for the charity. Women can purchase tickets for all the games at a special price of £15, with £4.25 of every ticket going directly to Breast Cancer Care.  At the games themselves referees will be dressed in pink, Saracens will be playing in pink, and fans are encouraged to turn themselves pink for the occasion!

It is the first time that all 12 Guinness Premiership clubs will simultaneously run a charity partnership across the league, and the initiative has received support from a variety of women not just in the sporting world.

To find out more about Tackled Pink visit www.tackledpink.com, a specially designed website which gives some introductory rugby advice, a means to get your reduced rate tickets and further information about Breast Cancer Care.

A variety of special match day activities will be on offer at each of the grounds. For example exclusive ladies lounges with complimentary drinks, beauty treatments and the opportunity to meet some of the players after the game, so check out your local club’s website for details.

The games that are taking place are:

Sat 19th April, 15:00 Gloucester Rugby v Leeds Carnegie Kingsholm, Gloucester
Sat 19th April, 15:00 Leicester Tigers  v Bristol Rugby Welford Road, Leicester

Sun 20th April, 15:00 Saracens  v London Wasps Vicarage Road, Watford
Sun 20th April, 15:30 Sale Sharks  v Newcastle Falcons Edgeley Park, Stockport

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor the Tackled Pink weekend: Breast Cancer Care will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
