Ulfa Aid works to support those who are marginalised, isolated and vulnerable across the globe and here at home, via Ulfa UK. Globally, we have worked in Pakistan & Indonesia following natural disasters. This year in the UK we have set up the unique Rumi's Cave & Rumi's Kitchen community projects.

Story

In the name of God, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page!

Did you know that 800,000 people remain homeless in Aceh and North Sumatra as a result of the Tsunami?

Did you know that the destruction caused by the Kashmir earthquake was SO immense that its left almost 3,000,000 homeless?

The figures speak for themselves - the situation is absolutely dire! Which is why we're leaving our warm homes behind and taking on an icy cold mountain!

All the money raised from our climb is going towards building homes for the homeless in these disaster-struck areas.

So please dig deep into your pockets and give as much as you can!

Night out at the cinema = £15

Skirt from Next = £30

England vs. Pakistan cricket tickets = £85

Giving someone a home = PRICELESS

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: ULFA Aid will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

You can also send us a cheque, and we will donate to the page on your behalf. Please make cheques payable to Ulfa Aid and send them to the following address: PO Box 43989, London, NW2 5YT.

Many thanks for your support. Peace be upon you all.
