Talisker Trek · 3 March 2006

The Woodland Trust is the UK's leading woodland conservation charity who creates, protects and cares for woodland across the UK. We are working hard to create a UK rich in native woods and trees, for people and wildlife. But we can't do this alone. We can't achieve our vision without you.

Story

Hi from the Woodland Trust - the UK's largest charity dedicated to protecting the UK's native woodland heritage.

This May we are entering our own team (Jim, Clare, Tim and Jonathan) to join others taking part in the first ever Talisker Trek to raise thousand of pounds for the Woodland Trust!

The trek will be a challenging exploration of the remote Isle of Skye's Cuillin Hills and will take place over 3 days.

The experts on the trek will be Tom Avery and Sir Ranulph Fiennes OBE and even though this won't be as challenging as these two guy's are used to (as they have conquered both poles!), their advice and expertise will be invaluable!

The team are hoping to raise over £1000 for the Trust and would appreciate your help.

The proceeds will help us plant more and more trees so please dig 'as deep as you can' into those pockets!

Many thanks for your support.

The Woodland Trust Talisker Team.
