On 21st April I will be running in The London Marathon. This will be the first of 3 events I have chosen this year - a Triathlon of events, but without any swimming! I will be riding from London to Paris from 19th to 21st July, and then cycling the 100 mile Olympic Cycle route on 4th August.

Doing these events is very special to me this year. It is primarily a chance for me to remember my father who died on 8th September. His immense bravery, faith and drive to live every day to the full is what has inspired me - a few months ago I was in hospital with a head injury, but God has been amazing and given me back by health and energy.

Chengelo school in Zambia is an amazing school, educating Zambian & African leaders of the future which sound Christian grounding. My father was treasurer for the Chengelo Educational Trust which raise money for school projects and bursaries to help children whoo would not otherwise be able to attend the school.
