LUPUS UK is the only National Charity which supports people with the immune system illness Lupus. It has a number of groups throughout the UK and supports over 6,000 members through these groups. It also provides funding for medical research into this life threatening and debilitating illness.

Well its that time of year again where Ben and I pull out our training plans and get down to some real hard training!

2012 brings about a new Marathon challenge for Ben. He will be running Marathon des Sables which is a 6 day / 151 mile (243km) endurance race across the Sahara Desert in Morocco from 5th to 16th April! Visit www.saharamarathon.co.uk for more details.

Whist Ben is recovering Tamzin will be running the 2012 London Marathon on Sunday 22nd April. It will be my 10th London Marathon!

Our challenges are fast approaching and we're both looking forward to them although Ben isn't too thrilled about the 50ºC temperatures that he will be running in!
