About our charity : Paul Strickland Scanner Centre Paul Strickland Scanner Centre
Early accurate diagnosis of cancer saves lives. For 23 years Paul Strickland Scanner Centre has remained at the forefront of technology. It has CT, MRI and PET/CT scanners providing the latest, most comprehensive diagnostic facilities for cancer patients on one site in the UK. But around £1 million a year has to be raised by fundraising events and donations to pay for new scanners.

             MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.... NEARLY!!!!

On the 16th March 2008, Rob Wishart, David French & Matt King of T&B (Contractors) Ltd were joined by Leon Goodwin from Baily Garner, Marlon Miller from St. Mary's School Hendon and Chris West from Oakland’s College, and sussesfully completed the 14th Rome Marathon in aid of the Paul Strickland Scanner Centre. www.stricklandscanner.org.uk

Now it's down to you!! We've done the hard bit, all we need you to do is dig deep and sponsor us as much as you can to push us over our minimum fundraising taget of £1,800!

The Paul Strickland Scanner Centre Provides Computerised Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Positron Emission Tomography to the National Health Service and Private Healthcare sector in the United Kingdom. This technology is constantly evolving and to keep abreast of the latest developments and to offer patients the most up to the minute equipment the centre has to acquire a new scanner every 2 to 3 years at a cost of upwards of £1,500,000. All of this has to be raised entirely by voluntary contributions, legacies and fundraising events!
