Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Justgiving page.

I am running the Birmingham Half-Marathon on the 20th October 2013 to support the Motor Neurone Disease Association and the work they do.

As part of my training i will also be running the Great Black Country 10k Road Race in Halesowen on the 22nd September 2013.

MND is a progessive and terminal disease that attacks the motor neurons or nerves in the brain and spinal cord, it can cause weakness and muscle loss throughout the body and effects people in different ways.

There is still a lot to learn about the disease but with help from charities and research new advancements and trials are slowly being created, which hopefully one day will lead to a cure.

Donating through justgiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Justgiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now and help me to raise the vital funds needed for this charity.
