We’re Mind, the mental health charity, working across England & Wales. We believe no one should face a mental health problem alone. We’re here for you. Whether you’re stressed, depressed or in crisis. We’ll listen, give support & advice, & fight your corner. Thanks for fundraising for national Mind.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So yes I'm crazy enough to be doing this.... Although originally I did want to sign up to the full one. Maybe I wasn't quite ready for that just yet (luckily it solt out, must have been a sign)

a lot of you will know of the charity mind, it helps people with both physical and mental health from anything from depression, suicidal thoughts to abuse as a child or even an adult. The list is endless. I have chosen this charity for a very specific reason and I don't think I could have picked a better one.

As most of you will know (of those that know me) I sadly lost my dad 8 years ago to depression. Unfortunatly he decided to take his life. Looking back now i dont think he knew or had the confidence to seek help or speak up to a family member. If only he'd spoken to somebody, would he still be here today? It is unfortunatley all if's and but's.

Im hoping to complete the run in less than two hours, with lots of hard training, eating right and dedication I know it's achievable. Wish me luck, see you at the finish line (hopefully).

So i am running the leeds half marathon in memory of my lovely dad and for the MIND charity. Every penny counts. Thank you for looking at my page :D.
