13 Apr 08 - marathon completed in 4 hrs 10 min 26 sec

7 Apr 08: last week before the marathon - only a couple baby runs 3 miles each - carb loading starts on Wed

4 Apr 08: tapering week - 4 runs - 3, 5, 3 again and finally 8 miles on Friday

28 Mar 08: longest weekday run - 9 miles - Green Park, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, St James Park and Green Park twice again - it took 1 hr 18m 24s to complete, average heart rate 151 with max heart rate 162 - got absolutely soaked

27 Mar 08: short weekday run - 5 miles - 2 laps around Green Park and St James Park - completed in 35 min 37 sec

25 Mar 08: long weekday run - 8 miles - Green Park, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, St James Park and Green Park again - it took 1 hr 06m 13s to complete, average heart rate 154 with max heart rate 171

22 Mar 08: long weekend run 12.7 miles (21 km) - 3 long laps near my house - completed in 1 hr 55 min 04 sec - average heart rate 149, max HR = 163 - let the tapering begin!

20 Mar 08: short weekday run - 5 miles - 2 laps around Green Park and St James Park - completed in 38 min 10 sec - average heart rate = 153, max HR = 172

19 Mar 08: long weekday run - 8 miles - Green Park, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, St James Park and Green Park again - it took 1 hr 07m 50s to complete, average heart rate 153 with max heart rate 175

17 Mar 08: interval training - 6 times up the hill in Green Park, max speed with short breaks in between

15 Mar 08: my new longest run - 21 miles (35 km) - 5 long laps near my house - completed in 3 hr 19 min 12 sec - average heart rate 151, max HR = 165

13 Mar 08: short weekday run - 5 miles - 2 laps around Green Park and St James Park - completed in 38 min 10 sec - average heart rate = 153 with max HR at 181 - only 1 months to go!

11 Mar 08: long weekday run - 8 miles - Green Park, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, St James Park and Green Park again - it took 1 hr 05m 44s to complete, average heart rate 159 with max heart rate 202

08 Mar 08: long weekend run - 19 miles (32 km) - 4 long laps near my house + 3 mile shorter one - completed in 2 hrs 55 min 50 sec - average heart rate = 149, max HR = 158

06 Mar 08: short recovery run - 5 miles - 2 laps around Green Park and St James Park - completed in 36 min 55 sec - average heart rate = 166 with max HR at 177

04 Mar 08: long weekday run - 8 miles - Green Park, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, St James Park and Green Park again - it took 1 hr 07m 24s to complete, average heart rate 156 with max heart rate 177 - legs feel better than last week after the intervals

03 Mar 08: interval training - 5 times up the hill in Green Park, max speed with short breaks in between

01 Mar 08: my new longest run - 19 miles (32 km) - 4 long laps near my house + 3 mile shorter one - completed in 3 hrs 00min 52 sec - average heart rate = 151, max HR = 161 - today's run was fun, I managed to get into the "flow" zone and it felt easy all the way, I wish I feel like this on the big day
