At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you. Visit www.younglivesvscancer.org.uk

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page...

In August we sent a model TARDIS 30km up into the Stratosphere...it returned to earth with some excellent video footage of its ascent.

In December (just in time for Christmas) we launched the TARDIS again. We wanted to get video footage at a higher altitude, & maybe a bit of the return to Earth.

We thought, what with it being the season of goodwill, that we might be able to raise some money for a good cause too.

So:

For a donation of £2.50 (or more) donors were able to send a 'tweet' to The Edge of Space along with our TARDIS.

After the launch we posted a record of all the 'tweets', together with a short video clip of the TARDIS's journey, on our facebook & Justgiving pages for everyone to see and to express our gratitude.

Although you can no longer send a 'tweet' to space you can still donate here to help the CLIC Sargent charity.

We'd still really like to get 'return to Earth video footage so if you are able to make a donation, no matter how small, your name will be placed into the capsule of our next Edge of Space mission planned for Spring/Summer 2013.

Thanks again.
