On Sat 4th July......WE DID IT………………….. and it was the most incredible experience ever!!

After the months of worry & panic Mandy & I did our tandem skydive on the 4^th July, jumping out of a plane at 12,000 feet! To say it was the most amazing experience of my life would be an understatement, falling through the clouds at 120 miles per hour cannot be topped!! 

It’s not too late to still sponsor me though, if you meant to come back & do it but forgot, my page is open until 31st DECEMBER!!!

As most of you know I have wanted to raise money for Meningitis for a while now & although I was petrified I thought I had more chance of jumping out of a plane than completing a run!!! I hoped that once I was up there if I thought about William it would make me take the plunge, quite literally! & it worked!

Nothing could have prepared Fred & I for when William was ill, no child or parent should have to go through that, thankfully William was one of the lucky ones and we now have our gorgeous, happy, healthy boy. Unfortunately, there are an awful lot of children who aren’t as fortunate. I am doing the jump with my friend Mandy, her husband's cousin has unbearably lost 2 children to this horrendous disease.

Meningitis UK has a single focus - to find a vaccine to protect against all forms of meningitis and associated diseases.

Meningitis UK's 'Search 4 a Vaccine Campaign' aims to raise £7 million to help fund cutting-edge research to develop a vaccine against Meningitis B, which causes almost 90% of cases in the UK and for which there is currently no vaccine.

I paid for the jump myself so 100% of the sponsorship raised will go to Meningitis UK. It only takes a couple of minutes to sponsor me.
