At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for coming folks!

I'm hitting up the 2015 BMW Berlin Marathon in memory of my Grandad Frank, and in support of all those families and individuals who are living with dementia. My blog at http://www.tattythinking.blogspot.co.uk tells the story of my aching legs in all their glory, so please take a peep.

Dementia can happen to anyone and there's currently no cure. There are 850,000 people in the UK living with dementia, of which there are over 100 different types, such as Alzheimer's Disease, CJD and HIV related cognitive impairment. To find out more, head to http://www.alzheimers.org.uk/ and take a look around Alzheimer's Society's amazing website.

And a HUGE thank you for all of your support!
