We are a group of parents who will be running the Fleet 2010 Half Marathon to raise much needed funds for our pre-school.
We have a particular goal in mind - to raise money towards some all weather covering for the pre-school garden which would provide rain cover for the outdoor play area and offer UV protection in summer. The cost for these is circa £4000 – a sum that the pre-school can by no means afford out of their annual budget. It would make such a difference to the children to have the option of some protection from the elements when they are outside. These sails are extremely hard wearing, so will benefit pupils for years to come.
The prospect of completing a half marathon is quite daunting for all of us, but we are determined to get round the course – even if some crawling towards the end is involved! As such, we would really appreciate your support with this – and every little will certainly help.
