The Chestnut Appeal for Men's Health fundraises for nurses, equipment and treatment, as well as providing awareness campaigns on prostate cancer, the most common cancer in men, right across Devon and Cornwall. We also raise awareness of testicular cancer and penile cancer in our communities.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are swimming the Plymouth Breakwater Swim to raise money for the Chestnut Appeal...helping to combat prostate cancer. We are local workmates and friends and as keen swimmers we have decided to use our love of swimming (and love of a challenge) to raise money for this great cause...

The Chestnut Appeal for Prostate Cancer was founded in 1999 at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth. Since then it has gone on to be at the forefront of prostate cancer care right across the region. They support the very latest in treatments and technology that wouldn't be available without community fundraising and they rely on donations from the public.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So come on everyone...please sponsor us generously!!!

Cheers,

Stan, Tim, Dave, Luke, Nick, Liam, Tom and Sam
