Compassionate care for the community. Southern Hospice Group is the charity for the three hospices our local communities know, love and support. Chestnut Tree House children's hospice near Arundel, Martlets in Hove and St Barnabas House in Worthing.

Story

This will be the fifth year running that the EMEA Tax Office has done a sponsored walk in memory of Theo Millis who had been the Head of the EMEA Tax Office until 2003 when he died unexpectedly from cancer.

Last year, individually and with the help of colleagues and friends in Sussex House, we raised over £1,000 which we donated to the Martlets Hospice in Hove (www.themartletshospice.co.uk) - the Martlets Hospice relies heavily on local fundraising as it is not part of the NHS and needs to raise approximately £3 million each year to fund the excellent work it carries out in Brighton and Hove and the surround area.

This year we will be walking on Wednesday August 13h (fingers crossed for no rain!) a circular 5-mile route through the countryside around Pyecombe & Hurstpierpoint.   So dig deep and help us raise even more money this year!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Martlets Hospice gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Please donate generously.

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page and many thanks for your support.
