On going funds for The Brain Tumour Charity · 11 October 2016

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world’s leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we’re moving further and faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. A cure really can’t wait

Story

Hi it's Toni here. My partner Jon was diagnosed with a brain tumour 19/09/14 at the age of 28. It was a total shock at the time as you can imagine. Currently Jon/chad is doing great with his tumour currently been monitored.

As most of our friends and family know by now as iv spent the last few months raising awareness but brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer in children and adults under the age of 40. Considering this fact less than 2% of the money raised for Cancer Research each year goes to funding and research in to brain tumours which I personally think is bloody bonkers.

I have opened this page to transfer the money raised at The Bingo Bonanza evening we held, and to continue to raise funds and awareness. People might call me crazy but I'm aiming to raise £10000 pounds or more for the Brain Tumour Charity by October 2016. The money we have raised is included in this.

I'm planning on holding other events and all money will be transferred to this page and will go directly to The Brain Tumour Charity. Currently from our sponsored walk and Bingo Bonanza we are currently on £5999.22

If you would like to get involved or raise funds to be included please give me a shout.

Thanks for taking the time to read love Toni & Chad xx
