On Sunday 26th, April 2009, Phil Taylor will be running the London Marathon to help raise funds for The Compassionate Friends.
‘I feel very privileged to run for TCF because I think about all the hard work my sister has done and how many people she has comforted at their worst times at the same time dealing with her own great loss of her Son Callum Mark Hughes.
Not only has TCF proved a lifeline for my sister, I have seen the support that she has received and feel that although the best intention is there it is impossible to give the support that an organisation run by those similar bereaved can give her. I feel that the loss is too great for a family to deal with alone and we are all so thankful of TCF for being there for her. Therefore, I feel this is a great cause and would appreciate your support and help me give something back to the charity that has helped my sister and my family so much.
