TEAM ACORNS at the GREAT NORTH RUN
raising money for the Acorns Children's Hospice.
The Greatest Team will be taking part in the Greatest Half Marathon in the World on Sunday 18h September 2011.
Since this time last year over £7000 has already been collected for ACORNS by various members of TEAM ACORNS , undertaking such challenges as 2010 GNR, SANTA RUN, NETBALL Tournament, LONDON MARATHON, GREAT NORTH SWIM, and the 96 mile WEST HIGHLAND WAY.
The ‘individuals’ will now come together as a group to take part in the
31st GREAT NORTH RUN.

Acorns cares for children and young people who have life limiting and life threatening conditions. This means they are unlikely to reach adulthood as a cure for their condition cannot be found.
Acorns provides short break, emergency and end-of-life care and they have a community team to support families 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
