Story
Hi everyone! Thanks for visiting this page; I hope you donate but first have a read of what's actually going on...
This summer Team David (Pearce and Eyre) are taking on Europe on a road trip to Bratislava for the charity Action For Children.
Action for Children work in the UK to help children who aren't as fortunate as us. It is key to a child's development that their childhood is full of happiness and equality; and Action for Children exists purely to bring out the full potential of these kids. They help children who are disabled, cannot live with their birth families and support the families so children can live with their parents.
Every single penny of the amount donated goes to Action for Children; they do no subsidise our trip in any way!
While this may not seem like much of a challenge; we have decided to add further difficulties to the overall goal. Except that we don't know what they are yet. In addition to the set rules that the car must be worth less than £250 (that will barely get you a years' worth of road tax on most cars!) we are giving YOU the chance to challenge us.
If you donate you can give us a task or challenge for us to earn your cash! It could be anything from making a quick delivery to running round in circles. Whatever you want, however we'd prefer it if they didn't involve getting arrested, and didn't deviate too far from the basic route.
The overall challenge is to get from northern France (St Omer is the start line) to Bratislava in 5 days stopping off at Luxembourg, Zurich, Brescia, Spittal and Bratislava. That's a little over 1300 miles; plus a return journey!
Our target is £500, but we are very grateful for any donations you can make; and remember to gift aid the donation so charity benefits from every penny from the taxman!
Thanks so much!
