29/09/09 So we made it and now we're all back in the UK! 555 miles in total ending Annecy after some huge climbs on Day 3!! Pictures will be online soon. Huge thanks to everyone who's sponsored us so far; we'd still love to get some more sponsorship in from anyone who hasn't had chance yet... Many thanks to everyone for your support and congratulations to the Team - why are there so may stairs to climb to get to the sales office?!?

24/09/09 Thursday morning and all four bikes are safely packed in DKC1 (the minibus!) - a quick cup of team and sliceof toast and Team EverFocus are on our way!...

23/09/09 There's now less than 24 hours before we pile ourselves, bikes, energy drinks, bananas, padded shorts and those inflatable rubber rings you can get to sit on into the minibus and make our way down to the Eurotunnel for the trip over to Laon. The ride starts at 7.00am on Friday morning and we've got just 3 short days to pedal all the way to Annecy by Sunday evening, but the view should be worth it when we get there! Team EverFocus - CIE-Group's lovelies in lycra - are back! With a brand new challenge for 2009 in aid of Derby Kids' Camp, Cancer Research and Macmillan Cancer Support...

Following the huge success of our cycle challenge back in 2007 which raised almost £5000! (huge thanks to everyone who sponsored us then!), this year Team EverFocus are back with an even bigger and better challenge than before (otherwise we thought you might not sponsor us!!).

So we've laundered our lycra leggings, sanitised our cycles, cleaned our clips and added savlon to our saddles as our merry band of 4 (yes 4! - we've now been joined by the lovely Lauren who brings that touch of glamour never quite achieved by the Lycra Lads) take on a big new version of our cycle challenge through France; once again we'll be taking on the '500 miles in 3 days' through France - only this time we're headed for the Alps!!

Taking place from the 25th to 27th of September, we'll be taking part in 'The Alpine Challenge', riding 500 miles in three days from Laon in northeastern France to Annecy in the French Alps, hoping to raise at least £5000 for three truly deserving charities... (In addition, each member of the team will be paying our own way on the trip; therefore, every single penny you donate will go directly to the charities).
So please be as generous as you can with your donations; just £20 will pay for a full day towards a holiday for a very deserving young child who would not otherwise be getting a break or vacation this year. Your donation will also help towards the amazing work of Cancer Research and Macmillan whose research continues to fight against the effects of cancer and who provide incredible support to those affected by this life-changing disease.

Thank you so much for your support - please help us to help these charities who do such amazing work; make as huge a donation as you dare(?!), tell your family, colleagues, friends and enemies to support us too and do come back and visit the site for regular updates on whether or not we can squeeze back into those lycra suits that seem to have miraculously shrunk by 3 sizes since the last challenge!
