I will be taking to the Thames with my fantastic team of paddlers and competing in the Kingston Rotary Club's annual Dragon Boat race on Sunday 15 July 2012. With one boat captained by me, and the other by our bowel cancer hero, Debbie Puxty, our two teams will race each other through three heats, and hopefully make it to the eight boat final.

Apart from providing muscle power, participants are there to raise money to fund Beating Bowel Cancer's life saving work.

In addition to the dragon boat racing, there will be lots of activities for all the family including market stalls, sideshows and rides for kids so it’s certain to be a fantastic day for all the family!
