My wife and I are taking Milly, a VW T4 Van, through 23 European countries in 23 days. We bought her as a non runner and thanks to the help from some very special friends she is now up and running. We have converted her from an empty shell into a camper van with a bed in the roof, a fully fitted kitchen, lounge, air conditioning and many more features to make our epic journey possible.

The details of the event can be found on www.windy 500.co.uk which   has other vehicles taking part as well. The basic idea is that when you arrive at the first destination you get the destination for the next day and so on, making it a bit of a magical mystery tour.

We have funded all the modifications to Milly ourselves and we will be paying for all the expenses involved in the trip.
