Hello!!

Thanks very much for visiting our site and taking the time to see what we we're doing. Between us we have scrambled a team together for the Sheffield Half Marathon in April 2010 and over the 13 miles we look forward to scrambling over the line!!

We have chosen a very worthwhile charity and it is something which we can all take pride in for during both the race but also the months of hard training which we have all committed to. SSAFA provide vital support to current and former service personel and their families. We all feel that at this time especially this is a worthwhile charity to help and your support is massive in that. SSAFA offer financial, emotional and very useful practical support, and their website offers loads of information about this and I would urge you to please have a quick look.

As far as running goes, this is all a very new experience for all of us which is both exciting but also slightly daunting. And whilst there is a slight sense of irrelevance in all of us, this is a challenge which is being taken very seriously and don't be surprised to see some funky running on the streets of derbyshire over the next few months as we get ready!

So please do give something to help and don't underestimate the tremendous help it will offer us personally when preparing for the run.
