<p>Sunday 25th March...</p>
<p>Thank you for your support everyone; it was a really hot day and we all found it tough to get round the course - but knowing that we had at least £900 of sponsorship money behind us helped! Will ran the half marathon in London yesterday due to transport issues, and completed it in 1:52! Rich was the fastest of the bunch at 1:38 and a bit, Rachel was a reasonably close second with 1:49! Sheen, Ri and Al all ran together up until about 7 miles, and we finished in very respectable 2:06, 2:08 and 2:21 respectively. Phew! I'm off to have a well earned shower. And thank you to the man who gave me some powerade after I finished - I cried a bit I was so happy to get a drink!! Our combined time was 11 hours and 53 minutes...well within 13 hours fantastic!!</p>
<p>24th March: UPDATE! With one day to go, we've made a team change - unfortunately John Egan is poorly :( but in his place we have a new fabulous team member...introducing Rachel Maskell. Thanks Rachel for stepping in! And thank you for all your generous donations so far, we're really pleased that we have so many supporters...no pressure then!</p>

<p>We are a team of 6 people running the Wilmslow half marathon on March 25th 2012. Our aim is to raise money for David Lewis (the official Wilmslow half charity) by each completing the half marathon in a combined time of under 13 hours. After all, we need to run just over 13 miles each! This means we need to run better-than-10-minute-miles. It's Ria Moss' first half marathon, and her sister Sheena Egan has only done one half marathon before. The dads: Alastair Bremner and John Egan are getting on a bit and they're not as quick as they used to be. We're pinning our hopes on Rich Egan (Sheena's husband) and Will Booker to keep our time down enough to beat our target of under 13 hours!</p>
