Mae Achub y Plant yn wynebu un o’r heriau mwyaf erioed. Oherwydd pandemig Covid gallai miliynau o blant farw wrth i’r coronafeirws ledu ar draws gweldydd sydd eisioes edi eu llethu gan ryfel neu drychineb. Yma yng Nghymru hefyd mae plant yn dioddef caledi economaidd o ganlyniad uniongyrchol y pandemig

Mae Achub y Plant yn disgwyl colli miliynau o bunnoedd yn ei refeniw eleni oherwydd bod gwirfoddolwyr yn methu codi arian. Fel Gwirfoddolwyr yng Nghymru, rydym yn good her i ni ein hunain sef cerdded hyd Llwybr Arfordir Cymru- 870 milltir, neu pellter cyfatebol mewn ardaloedd mewndirol a hynny yn y cyfnod sy’n arwain at ein diwrnod codi arian blynyddol, Diwrnod Siwmper Nadolig ar Ragfyr 11eg. Bydd ein cefnogwyr yn cynnwys bobl o bob oedran hyd yn oed pobl yn eu 80 au. Bydd rhai yn cerdded trwy dywydd tymhestlog ac ar draws llwybrau llithrig. Bydd rhai yn cerdded wedi gwisgo yn eu siwmperi Nadolig. Bydd unrhyw gyfraniad , waeth pa mor fach, yn dderbyniol iawn
