Story

We are Team Beacons, a group of 8 like-minded individuals who are graduates with Balfour Beatty UK.

We are raising funds for The Prince's Trust as part of the Million Makers competition. The Prince's Trust are a charity which helps 11 to 30 year-olds find employment by giving them opportunities and support.

We plan to raise funds through three main big events and other smaller ideas which will run parallel with the big events throughout the fundraising period.

Our Fundraising Plan:

1) We are holding a Charity Golf Tournament on the 24th September 2022 at Woodlands Golf Centre, the event will include 18 holes of golf in teams of 4 with prizes for the top 3 teams, Each player will also be given a free strip of raffle tickets with the option to buy more for our post-golf raffle. for enquiries please contact; ewan.mcaully@balfourbeatty.com

2) We will be completing the 'Yorkshire Three Peaks' on the 11th October where we get to together as a team and hike Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough -- a 24 mile hike in under 12 hours. this will be done as part of a Balfour Beatty Week of Peaks.
