Raising money for Oakhaven Hospice Trust
In memory of Rosemary Brown

The Oakhaven Walk 2026 · 16 May 2026 ·

Oakhaven Hospice supports people in our New Forest, Waterside and Totton communities who are facing end of life. We provide support to manage peoples physical, emotional and spiritual needs. With your donation we can really make every moment matter for those who need us most.

Story

On Saturday 16th May I’m walking 26 miles (again!) along the beautiful coastline from Sandbanks to Lymington to raise money for Oakhaven Hospice who helped give so much support, care and kindness during my beautiful mum’s final few weeks.

This year I am walking with Sharon, Wendy and Matt who are also walking to remember friends and loved ones who have been cared for by Oakhaven Hospice.

We can’t thank Oakhaven staff enough, they are real-life angels, and this challenge is just one way of giving something back to ensure that other people get the love and support so desperately needed during end of life care.

Mum LOVED walking on the sea wall every day before she got sick so this is the perfect challenge and one she would definitely have wished she could’ve done too. She’ll be with us in spirit for sure!

As always, thank you to our lovely friends for always supporting us and please keep your fingers crossed for lovely sunny weather on the day!
