This is the most gruelling cycle challenge we will have taken part in to date.

'Would you like to do a cycle challenge around the Italian Lakes asks Erica? It will be gorgeous' What she failed to tell us was this is at the foot of the Alps and to get from one to the other we will have to cycle over 585KM with an elevation of 10,000m and over 4 days. Taking into consideration non of us are professional cyclists this is going to be hard going and very different to the flatlands of the Netherlands which we did in 2023.

We are taking part in this challenge to raise much needed funds for our nominated charity The Children's Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT). This charity is local to the North West and solely relies on donations from generous supports. CAFT provides day trips, short breaks and respite activities for children who may have complex medical needs, special educational needs and disability or are socially disadvantaged.

This is a fantastic charity who have an amazing team of volunteers and staff who ensure that every child, regardless of their background or circumstances, feels welcomed and valued when they visit.
