Every year we support thousands of children and families right across the country. We provide rehabilitation to help children make the best recovery possible after a serious accident or illness, both at our national specialist centre in Tadworth and in the community.

A LITTLE ABOUT TEAM 25 RACING

Formed in 2007, Southampton based Team 25 Racing was put together by Scott Younger and Simon Yeadon to compete once again in offshore Powerboat racing.

Having spent time racing everything from BMX to motorbikes and rally cars to powerboats, Scott and Simon have always enjoyed a passion for high speed pursuits and the opportunity to return to a long-held love of offshore powerboating sees this partnership putting back together a fresh team for 2009.

Towards the end of last year the team took delivery of a new boat - a Sunseeker XS2000. This 39' monohull has a proven track record in the much acclaimed international Powerboat P1 offshore series and it has been race prepared over the winter ready to compete in both domestic and international endurance events throughout 2009 and beyond.

With the success of the Round Britain Race 2008 and the revival of the Cowes-Torquay-Cowes marathon event, offshore powerboating is currently enjoying a revival throughout Europe, and a series of high profile events are on the race calendar for the 2009 season.

We have decided that this year along with Drivers Dry Berthing we want to take the opportunity to raise funds through powerboating for The Children's Trust who provide care, education, therapy and rehabilitation to children with multiple disabilities and complex health needs, so please donate what you can, as all funds donated will go direct to this charity.
