Team 5Alive have agreed to give up their busy social lives over the next 3 months to train for the Flora London Marathon on the 13th April 2008. This is one of the top five international marathons run over 26 miles and 385 yards………a loooooooong way!!!!
We will be raising money for the British Heart Foundation – their vision is of a world in which people do not die prematurely of heart disease. They will achieve this through pioneering research, their vital prevention activity and by ensuring quality care and support for people living with heart disease. This is a cause which has touched all of us through family and friends and we have committed to raise between us £7,500!!
What we want is your support to help us reach our total target amount for a great cause…..it’s going to be tough, we may will lose our toenails and no doubt pick up many injuries along the way, but we are committed and ready to go!!!!
Any donations will be much appreciated and a few beers after as well!!!! If you are free on the 13th April come down and support us, it really is an amazing atmosphere and may even encourage you to take part next year!!
