WE DID IT!!!!!!!
Thanks to your fantastic support Team 65 won the -
MACMILLAN 4X4 CHALLENGE award for 'HIGHEST SPONSORSHIP 2009'.
We have currently raised over £5000 which is a fantastic achievement, and one that is due to the Team effort from our friends, families and business contacts who have given us the support to win the award.
There are pictures of the event on our club website (link below)and we will shortly post a report of our travels, which covered a total of 700 miles!
We hope to secure a place in the 2010 challenge and look forward to your continued support.

The Macmillan 4x4 UK Challenge takes place from March 6th to 8th 2009, with competitors covering up to 1000miles tackling a combination of navigation and offroad sections all over the British Isles. All money raised goes direct to Macmillan with event costs and fuel paid by the entrants. The MAC 4X4 has raised about £100,000 per year for this very worthy cause with each participent having a sponsorship target. The teams only know where they are starting from - not where they will travel to !

Team 65 - Dave Carroll and Peter Hutchin are signed up for the 2009 challenge .We aim to make our mark on this famous event in an offroad prepared Landrover Defender. We would appreciate all support in terms of donations / sponsorship all of which goes direct to Macmillan Cancer Support.
