DELTA Bike Ride 2010 · 9 May 2010 ·

DELTA believes that the vast majority of deaf children can learn to listen and talk and that all parents of deaf children should be given this option. It's aim is to promote the education of hearing impaired children through their residual hearing capacity and naturally spoken language.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

Team 'Mountain Bikers' are Peter Watson, Rob Beaumont, Andrew Beattie, Ulrich Walker and Craig Thomas. We have signed up for the DELTA bike ride 2010 taking place on May 9th. The ride starts in Reigate and follows country lanes to Ovingdean Hall School near Brighton, covering a distance of 48 miles which includes the Ditchling Beacon climb.

DELTA is a national charity that supports and develops the Natural Aural Approach to the education of profoundly and severely deaf children. The vast majority of these children can learn to listen and talk if given the right technical aids and support. DELTA believes that all parents of deaf children should be given this option for their children.

We would like to raise as much money as possible for DELTA whilst we enjoy a nice ride through the Surrey and Sussex countryside!
